Categories.

Every page gets labels so you can find it again. Content type says what kind of page it is — an overview, a playbook, a proposal. Entity type says which thing the page is the main record of — a partner, a funder, a program. Relation types connect one page to another, like "this program is funded by this funder."

These descriptions are not only for people to read. The AI that files new sources reads them too, so the words you write here are what tell it which pages belong in a category.

Content types

What kind of page it is. Every page gets exactly one, and it decides where the page shows up when you browse. They come in four families — pick the family first, then the type inside it.

Records

Who or what we deal with. The page is the standing record of a thing.

Entity types

Links that say how two pages are connected — not just "see also," but "funded by" or "led by." They let you ask questions that follow the links, like which funders back work in a country.

Undeclared types in use

These appear on pages but aren't declared categories. Home still lists them under a humanized name of their own; only pages with no type group under “Other”. The AI is never told they exist until they're adopted. Adopt the ones that are real; fix the pages behind the ones that aren't.
